The September 15 issue of New York Magazine has a very interesting 23 page feature. It takes a look at the changing cityscape of New York as old buildings are replaced by new throughout the city. The article cover a great many different examples, with before and after shots.

This is an interesting presentation of Architecture to a wider audience than it would normally be received by, and the way it is put together - 23 pages - i'm sure would have huge impact. I would love to get my hands on a hard copy to be able to fully appreciate it, rather than the 23 separate webpages, which dilutes the experience a bit.

Archidose, where I discovered this article, has an image incorporating all before and after shots, which is well worth a look.
